MEPs are sometimes invited to take part in delegations to other parts of Europe and beyond. On this page you will find information about my activities in this area.

For example, in November 2014 I was asked to lead a delegation of International politicans to observe a Referendum on Catalalan Independence, officially titled as a ‘participation process’. Recent developments show that this issue is far from being resolved, and you can find some of my blogs on the subject below.

At the end of last year a seafood scandal broke in Brussels. An organisation by the name of Oceana went deep undercover. The organisations operatives gathered DNA samples from 280 fish dishes being offered by Brussels leading restaurants (as well as the canteens of the three EU institutions).
