CONSERVATIVE MEP FOR SCOTLAND

North Sea Powerhouse Plan Published

14.01.2016.

Ian Duncan MEP has launched a cross party plan to see the North Sea transformed into the energy power house of North-Western Europe.  Created together with 19 MEPs from countries around the North Sea, the plan urges the European Commission and Council to invest in offshore renewable infrastructure and create a free trade zone in electricity in North-Western Europe.  The MEPs claim that building the infrastructure will help lower energy bills for European consumers, including people in Scotland.
